How to Service and Repair the Automatic Transmission Filter on Ford Explorer Sport?

In order to service the automatic transmission fluid filter, place the vehicle in neutral, empty the fluid and then remove the fluid pan. Take out the old filter and gasket, wash out the pan and fit in a new filter. Assemble, add fluid and test by gears.
