How to service and repair the Transmission Pan on Ford Explorer Sport?

To do service to the fluid pan, place the vehicle on neutral in a hoist. Drain transmission fluid and replace the pan and filter as well as clean the parts. Install new filter and gasket, tighten screws and reposition heat shield. Fill up with 3.7 liters of fluid, test levels, and check operation.
