How to service the instrument panel dimmer switch on Ford Explorer Sport?

In order to service dimmer switch on instrument panel, disconnect battery ground cable, center finish panel and disconnects. Take off the steering column lowers and hood latch handle. Adjust the gear shift lever, take off the instrument cluster finish panel and unscrew the dimmer switch. Undo the steps to install the new switch.
