A service or repair of the turn signal switch starts with disconnecting the battery ground cable. Begin by putting the ignition key into the lock cylinder then turning it to RUN position. Use an ignition key to activate the release tab of the lock cylinder that you will then remove from its placement. Turn the tilt wheel handle together with its shank counterclockwise if applicable before their removal. Screw removal enables you to pull the upper and lower steering column shrouds apart. You can extract the multifunction switch after unplugging all electrical connectors and unscrewing it followed by its removal. User should perform the exact opposite sequence as removal procedures for installation completion.
