A: The air intake duct on 4.6L (3V) or 4.6L (2V) engines should be serviced by unscrewing the crankcase breather hose at the Air Cleaner outlet pipe, and unscrewing air cleaner outlet pipe clamps then removing the pipe itself. To install, reverse instructions and screw the clamps to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

A: To maintain or repair the intake air duct disconnect the crankcase breather tube first. Next tighten the Throttle Body and air cleaner clamps with a wrench, and take the air cleaner outlet pipe away. Install the outlet pipe by tightening the outlet pipe up to 4 Nm (35 lb-in), and then reverse the removal procedure.
