The Dial Indicator Gauge together with its Holding Fixture must be installed first before crankshaft servicing and repairing. The installation of the crankshaft requires rear positioning at the cylinder block with subsequent Dial Indicator Gauge zeroing. Note the crankshaft end play at the front position of the cylinder block after shifting the crankshaft while documenting your results according to specifications. Check the engine system level at this time.
