How to service and repair the A/C Switch in the climate control assembly on Ford F-150 Heritage?

Service or repair of the climate control assembly starts with disconnecting the vehicle battery. You should detach the center instrument panel finish panel by turning the vents inward while pulling the panel through the vent openings. The procedure starts by unfastening the passenger air bag deactivation (PAD) switch electrical connector together with the 4WD control switch connector before removing the center instrument panel finish panel. Use the combination of unscrewing followed by pulling to remove the climate control assembly from the vehicle. Before installation disconnect both electrical pathways and vacuum tube connector from the climate control assembly. Reverse all steps from the removal process to install the components back.
