Start all hydraulic hose service and repair operations by switching off air suspension system electrical power at the right-hand kick panel area because air spring inflation or deflation could shift the vehicle during work. The first step requires vehicle elevation and subsequent removal of the line through its plastic floor flange clip followed by separation of the line from the
Clutch Slave Cylinder end. Lower the vehicle to remove the
Clutch Master Cylinder assembly along with the connected line. Throw away the roll pin that keeps the line connected to the clutch master cylinder. The outlet port of the clutch master cylinder should contain an O-ring but if there is none present you need to install a new one. The clutch master cylinder line disconnects by pulling gently then the new line can install into the outlet port before securing the clutch master cylinder tube. The installation of the roll pin requires thorough positioning of the line followed by a secure connection check through tube tugging of the clutch master cylinder. The air suspension electrical power needs to be switched off before you lift and stabilize the vehicle. The system should be bled while checking that the line carries an O-ring correctly installed in its position yet avoiding an O-ring in the port of the clutch slave cylinder. Verify the clutch slave cylinder connection security by pulling on the line after inserting its male coupling portion into the female coupling part. To complete the procedure you must attach the line to the floor flange clip followed by vehicle descent before enabling the air suspension switch (when present).
