How to service the power seat switch on Ford F-150 Heritage?

Service of the power seat switch requires you to disconnect the battery ground cable first. Pulling off the front seat back recliner handle will start the service process after you remove its screw. You must first pull out the front seat lumbar support knob then remove the front seat track side shield by unfastening screws and the pin-type retainer and disconnecting electrical connectors when available. Finish the switch operation by disassembling the seat control switch from the front seat track side shield after unscrewing the shield and removing the switch. The installation completion requires executing the opposite steps used for removal.
