How to service and repair the turn signal switch on Ford F-150 Heritage?

In order to fix the turn signal switch, disconnection of the battery, removal of ignition switch lock cylinder and the tilt wheel handle are necessary. Take the side of the steering column and remove cover of steering column shrouds. Unscrew the multifunction switch, and break its connectors. Install reverse, taking note of possible drive symptoms when battery is reconnected.
