How to program the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitters on Ford F-150?

The RKE transmitters are programmed by pressing the RKE transmitter or the door controls when the door is open with the driver in the vehicle. Close the key eight times by switching between the OFF and RUN positions, and then within 20 seconds switch any button on either transmitter. Switch off program by pressing the key to OFF, or 20 seconds.
