In order to remove the upper cooling fan shroud of the 6.4L Diesel, it is necessary to drain out the cooling system, loosen up the right-hand CAC tube, and loosen up different hoses and electrical connections. Take off the upper fan shroud, up raise the right side and assemble it in reverse order, making sure that the correct torque specification is met.

How to service the cooling fan shroud for the 6.4L Diesel on Ford F-250 Super Duty?

In order to remove the 6.4L Diesel cooling fan shroud, take out the lower hose retainers and the radiator. Unbolt and remove the fuel cooling system coolant pump. Open the turbo actuator cooler-to-fuel cooling system hose clamp. Free and repositioned wiring harnesses. Remove the lower fan shroud. To reinstall, follow the reverse.
