How to service and repair the accelerator cable on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

In order to service the accelerator cable, reconnect the cable and shrub with the accelerator pedal, and cover the air cleaner outlet. Unscrew the splash shield, unhook the pushpin and drag the cable. Last but not least, disconnect it to throttle body and detach it. Installation the steps reversed.
