The first step for servicing the throttle cable begins with pedal stabilization followed by disconnecting the
Accelerator Cable from the accelerator pedal base and shaft base respectively. The first step requires removal of the
Throttle Body inlet duct from the throttle body followed by depressing the tab to detach the accelerator control splash shield. Begin the service by disconnecting the dash panel accelerator cable pushpin then removing all its mounting bolts before pulling the cable through the bulkhead opening. To disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever you should spin the lever forward and depress the locking tabs. The last step should include removing the accelerator cable from your vehicle. The installation requires following the opposite steps used for removal.
