How to Service the Sunroof Air Deflector on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

In order to maintain the sunroof or moonroaf windguard, remove the plastic air deflector screws by opening the roof panel. When reinstalling tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb-in). Lift the air deflector, move it backwards and release it. Installation is done in reverse order.

How to service the sunroof or moonroof Air Deflector on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

One can fix the sunroof or moonroof windguard by unscrewing the roof panel and removing the two screws on the air deflector tether, tightening them to 1 Nm (9 lb-in) before screwing them back in. Open the air deflector Slide it back and up to release it. Installation is done by simply reversing the process.
