How to service the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

The Crankshaft Position Sensor service requires users to start by disconnecting the battery ground cable. Service the Crankshaft Position Sensor by first disconnecting the battery ground cable. As the following step remove the A/C compressor and then raise and support the vehicle. Connectors that power the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor require detachment after which workers can remove the bolt holding the sensor in place before removing the sensor piece. Workers should take out the sensor carefully because the crankshaft pulley is now exposed for better visibility. You should reinstall the sensor according to the same steps used during removal.
