The EGR valve service requires initial steps to disconnect the vacuum line from the valve when it is equipped with such components. The first step involves removing bolts while moving the differential pressure feedback EGR bracket to the side to access it. Detach the EGR tube fittings while shifting the EGR tube to the side. Two bolts securing the EGR valve need removal before discarding the gasket. A new gasket must be properly installed between cleaned sealing surfaces while paying attention to the soft metal compositions of the EGR valve sealing surfaces. Position all EGR valve bolts into the components first at 20 Nm (15 Lb-Ft) torque then continue to turn them another 90 degrees. After connecting the EGR valve tube fittings and reattaching the differential pressure feedback EGR one should install the air cleaner outlet tube and vacuum line.
