How to Service and Repair the Vapor Canister on Ford F-350 Super Duty?

To fix the evaporative emission control canister, make sure the vehicle is in neutral position and it is on a hoist. Disassemble the battery, and then take off the canister and its parts. Install the canister once again, reattach all tubes and electrical connections and perform an EVAP system leak test and verification drive cycle.
