How to Service and Repair an Air Duct in the Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe on Ford Five Hundred?

In order to service the intake air duct, the brake aspirator tube must be positioned in the air cleaner outlet pipe to prevent leaks of vacuums. Disassemble the brake aspirator tubes, PCV, loosen the clamps and take out the outlet pipe. Reassemble in reverse order and add clamps to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

How to Service and Repair an Air Duct on Ford Five Hundred?

In order to service the air inlet duct, pull out the heater core and the evaporator core housing. Disconnect electrical connector of actuator on the air inlet door and remove the wire harness. The duct has screws attached to it. Unscrew them and remove them. In case of installation, reverse the steps applied to remove it.
