How to service and repair the cruise control switch on Ford Five Hundred?

In order to service the cruise control switch, remove the driver air bag module first. Next, loosen the two screws that hold the speed control switch and disconnect the electrical connector. Installation of the new switch should be tightened to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) and the installation should be completed as in the reverse.
