How to service the Fuel Pressure Sensor on the fuel rail on Ford Five Hundred?

Service of the fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor must begin by letting out fuel system pressure to maintain safety because fuel retains high pressure despite engine shutdown. Start by disconnecting the battery ground cable followed by deconnecting the electrical connector and vacuum connector of the fuel rail pressure and temperature sensor. Prior to sensor removal dismantle the two bolts which secure the device. Apply clean engine oil on the O-ring seal before installing the new sensor and fasten its bolts to 3 Nm (27 lb-in). The installation process ends when performing the reverse steps.
