How to service the accessory drive belt on Ford Five Hundred?

Use neutral on a hoist to service the accessory drive belt. Take off the splash shield on the right hand side and in the case of the Freestyle, the A/C compressor pulley shield. Pull the belt off with a belt tensioner tool, and re-fit in the reverse order and make sure that the belt is properly routed.
