How to service and repair the windshield washer pump on Ford Flex?

To fix the windshield washer system, raise the vehicle, take out the RH front fender splash shield and empty the washer reservoir. Turn off the pump, do not operate without filling it up. Reassemble the pump by working backwards through the procedure and by filling the reservoir taking care not to damage the rubber grommet.
