How to Service and Repair the Main Bearing Crankshaft Seal on Ford Focus?

To change the crankshaft main bearing seal, lift up the car in neutral, take out the flywheel, empty the oil, and take out the oil pan by unscrewing 17 bolts. Install the new seal by use of a special tool, clean surfaces, apply the silicone gasket, and reassemble parts, making sure they are properly torqued. Finally, refill engine oil.
