How to service the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud on Ford Focus?

The vehicle requires a hoist set to NEUTRAL transmission position before starting radiator cooling fan motor and shroud service. Disconnect the battery ground cable followed by disconnecting the electrical connectors of the dual electric cooling fan. Lower the cooling fan motors and shroud as an assembly from the retainer brackets by disconnecting the brackets to take the assembly down from the vehicle. Service the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud through the reverse order of removal.
