Ford Freestar Blower Motor Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service the auxiliary blower motor on Ford Freestar?
A: You should start auxiliary blower motor servicing by taking off the LH quarter trim panel and breaking the wire harness connection. The blower motor electrical connector must be unscrewed first along with its screws before disconnecting it and putting the wire harness to the side. Detach the vent tube from the auxiliary blower motor then take out the screws before removing the blower motor. Unfasten the blower motor wheel clip before removing both the wheel and the clip. When installing the blower motor complete the process by performing the reverse steps used for removal.
