How to Service the Crankshaft Position Sensor on Ford Freestyle?

To maintain the CKP sensor, be sure the vehicle is suspended on a hoist in neutral. Unplug battery ground, unplug splash shield retainers and unplug CKP sensor. Unscrew the securing bolt, screw on the new sensor, and tighten the bolt to 10 Nm and use the reverse process.
