  A: The service procedure starts by removing the two degas bottle bolts then setting aside the degas bottle while torquing it to 9 Nm (80 lb-in) before reinstallation. The service of the windshield Washer Pump begins with disconnecting both the washer fluid level sensor electrical connector and the A/C line bracket. The installation requires tightness of 5 Nm (44 lb-in) on the three windshield washer reservoir bolts while replacing them. Caution should be exercised when handling windshield washer solution because it contains dangerous methanol according to the label directions. When operating the vehicle users need to avoid running the windshield pump until the fluid reservoir contains proper liquid content and they need to drain and remove the washer fluid tank first.
