How to service and repair the spoiler on all on Ford Fusion?

All vehicles need spoiler repair work to start with removing the luggage compartment lid followed by its disconnection from pushpin retainers while also extracting the insulator. You must disconnect the spoiler electrical connector followed by removing the nuts from the spoiler to the luggage compartment lid and secure them to 6 Nm (53 lb-in) torque setting during installation. The front edge separation of ST spoiler tape needs to be made from the luggage compartment lid. Two pin-type retainers located at the spoiler bottom may break when you remove it which requires a new spoiler installation. You should clean the luggage compartment lid before installing the spoiler and make sure to press on the front edge of the spoiler after secure all fasteners to achieve correct tape bonding. Use a suitable tool to pass through the luggage compartment lid gap above the spoiler from both ends up to the pin-type retainers before depressing them while you pull up on the spoiler to separate it. The installation process for the new spoiler requires the reversal of all removal steps.
