How to service the windshield wiper motor on Ford Fusion?

To maintain a windshield wiper motor, take away the wiper pivot arms, then the mounting arm and the pivot shaft. Unscrew the linkage nut and loosen the bolts that hold the motor to the mounting arm and remove the motor. Uninstall by backing the steps up.
