The wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft service procedure starts with taking off the upper cowl panel grille. The first step requires users to disconnect the electrical connector which services the windshield wiper motor. You should start by taking out the assembly bolts which secure the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft. After that remove the wiper mounting arm assembly along with its pivot shaft from its position. Finish the installation by following the reverse order of removal steps and tighten the bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
