First remove the generator component followed by taking out the regulator and brush holder by removing their screws. The new generator regulator and brush holder should be installed while pressing down on the brushes before you insert your wire as a holding mechanism. After securing both the regulator and brush holder properly install their screws then remove the positioning wire. Finally, reinstall the generator. Vehicle relearning requires you to drive 16 km (10 miles) or more after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery since the adaptive strategy needs time to complete the relearning process.
