To repair the BJB terminal area remove its cover, unfasten the two nuts and safely set it aside while reinstallation requires 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque. The battery cable connector must be taken off from the fender well and the A/C compressor electrical connector only if present. The removal procedure includes taking off two cable locators from the A/C compressor before unthreading the battery cable engine bracket nut for installation while tightening to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft). Place the engine ground terminal of the battery cable aside by removing its nut then reinstall it after torqueing it to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft). First remove the starter solenoid terminal cover followed by removing the nut to set aside the battery cable starter solenoid terminal, reinstall it with a torque of 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). You should set aside the battery cable starter solenoid wire terminal after removing its nut. This terminal needs to be tightened at 5 Nm (44 lb-in) when reinstalling.
