How to program the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitters on Ford Ranger?

In order to program RKE transmitters, the vehicle must be unlocked using the transmitter or door switch with the driver door open. Eight times, turn the ignition off to on then press each of the transmitter buttons within 20 seconds. In case it is not responsive, look into it. Stop exit program by switching the key to OFF or 20 seconds.
