How to Service and Repair the Canister Purge Valve in the EVAP System on Ford Taurus?

In order to fix the EVAP Canister Purge Valve, disconnect the battery ground cable and then loosen the electrical connector and vapor tube couplings. Remove the valve out of the bracket. Re-fit the new valve by inverting these steps after which a leak test and verification drive test are undertaken.
