The draining process completes before you remove the cooling tube bolt and drop the vehicle. You need to begin by getting rid of the radiator upper cooling tube bolt before disconnecting the upper radiator hose and engine vent hose. Then you can remove the two bolts which will separate the radiator tube from the thermostat housing. Finally, remove the thermostat. The installation process for the new thermostat should include steps opposite to those used during removal.
