Remove the battery junction box (BJB) cable terminal by taking out the nut before installation where you should tighten it to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). After removing the starter solenoid terminal cover and loosening its nut you can place the battery cable starter solenoid terminal aside while reattaching it with 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). You should remove the nut to position the battery cable starter motor terminal in its place before tightening it to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) in the reinstallation stage. Move the engine ground terminal of the battery cable before removing its bolt and return it back to place by applying 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) of torque during final installation. You should remove the battery cable at the Intake Manifold top along with the three battery cable locators from the left-hand valve cover. After removing the generator protective cover you should take out the generator nut followed by setting the B+ terminal aside while tightening everything to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
