Clean the sealing surfaces, install new gaskets and attach the manifold at defined torque. Installation is done by reconnecting all parts, such as, hoses and electrical connectors.

How to service the lower intake manifold on Ford Taurus X?

To maintain the lower intake manifold, empty the cooling system and take out the fuel rail. Removal of thermostat housing and lower intake manifold bolts, disposal of gaskets and cleaning of surfaces. Replace the gaskets, tighten the bolts of the manifold and housing up to 10 Nm and reattach the fuel rail and cool the system.
