When repairing the right-hand exhaust manifold, disconnect the battery, elevate the vehicle and loosen the dual converter Y pipe along with bracket. Unplug the EGR tube and take off the manifold and place a new gasket. Assemble by installing the bolts but in bits, reconnect the EGR tube and remove the vehicle.

In order to fix the left-hand exhaust manifold, disconnect the battery, lift up the vehicle, and take off the two converter Y-pipes. Remove the exhaust manifold, and then the oil level indicator tube. Replace a new gasket and manifold, screwing in the bolts in two shifts. Install the tube, Y-pipe and reconnect the battery.
