How to service and repair the throttle body on Ford Windstar?

Service or repair of the throttle body requires starting with disconnecting the battery ground cable according to procedure. The first step must involve removing the air cleaner outlet tube. The engine control sensor wiring must disconnect from both Idle Air Control (IAC) valve and Throttle Position (TP) Sensor. Disconnection of both the accelerator cable and speed control actuator cable follows before you can remove the throttle body. In addition to the Throttle Body gasket removal, you should detach the IAC valve together with its gasket and throttle position sensor. Reverse the steps used for removal in order to install the parts.
