How to service the air injection pump on Lincoln LS?

One must begin air injection pump servicing by both lifting and supporting the vehicle from underneath. You must take out the inner fender splash shield as your next step. Start by disconnecting electric connectors and creating space between wiring and secondary air pump before taking out the pump-to-valve air tube. The secondary air pump requires bolt and nut removal to be extracted. The installation process follows the opposite sequence of uninstallation.
