To service the PCV valve, lift off the engine cover and the valve assembly off of the cam cover. Disconnect the crankcase vent connector and hose and observe the valve. Unless it is rattling, change it. Installation Check Vacuum leakages Check Reinstall by: overturning the process.

How to Service the PCV Valve on Lincoln Town Car?

Removing the resonator is the first step to service the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve. At this point, remove the PCV valve grommet and connection with the crankcase vents connector and hose. During installation, one just has to do what one did during removal to reverse it.
