How to Properly Service Air Suspension to Avoid Damage or Injury on a Lincoln Continental?

Prior to air spring servicing always check that the spring contains no pressure because it protects both the vehicle and personnel from harm. Before servicing the air spring the vehicle needs to be placed on suitable lifting equipment with deflated air suspension system pressure. The technician should support the lifted vehicle while the air suspension system remains deflated. Disconnect the air spring solenoid electrical connector and air line by pressing on the quick connect locking ring to reduce it and extracting the air line. To remove the air spring first lift its bottom section upward and activate the locking tabs found at the air spring seat bottom before rotating the air spring outward. Install the system by conducting the reverse steps of uninstallation.
