In order to service the thermostat housing, first of all take out the water thermostat itself and then the water hose connection and the water bypass hose. Unscrew the securing bolts of the housing and take off the housing. Installation Re-Installation would require the reversal of the procedure and tightening of all bolts to 20 - 30 Nm (15 - 22 ft. lbs. ).
