Servicing the Idle Control Valve the battery and electrical connector should be removed, the valve and the old gasket taken out. Wash the mating surfaces without the use of toxic solvents. Replace any damaged wiring. To install, the reverse of the steps of removal should be used and a new gasket is necessary.
