How to service the muffler on Lincoln LS?

In order to service the muffler, lift and hold the vehicle, and hold exhaust pipes behind resonators. In case in good condition, reuse hanger bracket insulators, lubricate with Silicone Lubricant FSAZ-19553-AA (Ford ESR-M13P4-A), or other lubricant, then remove. Eliminate hanger insulators, nuts, bolts, brace and mufflers. Installation Attached by reversibility.

How to service and repair the muffler and tailpipe on Lincoln LS?

The exhaust system must be cooled before the muffler and the tailpipe are serviced. Isolators Do not use oil-based lubricants. New fasteners and torque values. Install the assembly, take out the bolts and change insulators where necessary. Recent parts, both in terms of alignment and necessary adjustments.
