The service procedure for parking assist distance sensors starts with removal of the rear bumper cover. The two parking aid ultrasonic sensors can be uninstalled by releasing their retaining tabs and disconnecting their electrical connectors. Start by disconnecting the two ultrasonic sensors controlling parking aid. Following this disconnect the mounting bracket and bolts which secure the radar sensor of parking aid. Remove the parking aid radar sensor from the vehicle and disconnect its bolt and also remove the radar parking aid sensor component. The installation process ends with performing the reverse steps of removal.
