    Start servicing sunroof or moonroof panels after opening the roof opening glass assembly to its closed position and moving the left and right sight shields forward. The exterior portion of the vehicle requires the uninstallation of four assembly screws before lifting off the roof opening glass. The next procedure is to extract the roof opening glass seal from its position. Start with placing the new roof opening glass seal throughout its passenger-side seam to fit the center point of the glass assembly. Check that the sight shield matches the snap retainer and then install it following proper hole alignment. Install four screws by tightening them to 4 Nm (35 lb-in) and after which swing the left and right sight shields forward to snap them into the right position. Adjust the height settings of the roof opening glass during the final stage.
