Repairing of throttle cable To mend throttle cable, disconnect accelerator cable of throttle body and bracket. Take the hush panel out, and then remove the accelerator cable. Damage of the cable core should be avoided. To install, reverse the process making sure that the accelerator cable assembly is joined together (where it is in one piece) by snapping the two halves together.
