How to service the alternator on Lincoln Mark LT?

In order to service the alternator, unconnect the battery. In 4.6L, pull out air cleaner outlet pipe and in 5.4L, pull out the inlet pipe. Turn the FEAD belt tensioner, loosen the generator harness and loosen the generator bracket bolts. Unplug the generator electrical connector and take out the generator and reinstall the generator with a specific torque.
