First disconnect the generator harness locator from the generator bracket before removing four bolts that secure the generator bracket with proper torque of 10 Nm (89 lb-in) when reinstallation occurs. It is essential to loosen both generator bolts for generator movement while accessing electrical connectors yet torque these bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) when reinstalling. After detaching the generator electrical connector you must set aside its B+ protective boot to safely access the generator B+ nut and terminal for generator removal. Reinstallation of the generator requires B+ nut torque set to 8 Nm (71 lb-in). Reverse the previous procedures to fully install the system.
